The Northern Rocky Mountain RC&D and Other Partners assisted with the construction of the Huls Dairy anaerobic digester. The system creates and captures methane gas for energy generation and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the remaining solids are separated and bagged as the fertilizer and soil amendment product AFTERBURNER BOOST and the remaining nutrient-rich liquid is used in the irrigation system as plant food for the corn and alfalfa crops.
