Seven of these businesses will be named finalists for the DREAM BIG Small Business of the Year Award, sponsored by Sam's Club, on Monday, March 15. All Blue Ribbon Award winners will be honored at America's Small Business Summit on May 18 in Washington, D.C.
In addition, 25 Free Enterprise Honorees were commended for their strong business practices and contributions to the economy.
Voting Starts Today for the Community Excellence Award
Cast your vote for one of the 2010 Blue Ribbon Small Businesses to help them win the Community Excellence Award. The award is designed to highlight a business that has found success in the eyes of its community.
Blue Ribbon winners are encouraged to tell their contacts and business community to vote. Tell them to go here to help you win!
The business with the most votes by the close of business on Friday, March 12, will be presented with the award by U.S. Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue, during America's Small Business Summit. The winner will also receive a free two-night hotel stay at the Omni Shoreham Hotel during the Summit.
Polls will open Monday, March 1 and close Friday, March 12 at 5:00 pm ET.
